Growing up on the California coast, Norlynne has a strong affinity for the ocean, waves, sky, and horizon, which recur often in her work. In Taos, where she now resides, the sky is her ocean, and the clouds are her waves.
Working in series, the work often extends across multiple mediums, including paintings, photography, unique prints, and clay sculpture. Norlynne creates visually stunning and emotionally evocative art that explores themes of nature, space, and the infinite.
In 1985 she began her professional career in art working with art
consultants and dealers in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Her work has
been exhibited widely in the United States and at major international
art shows; and collected, commissioned, and installed in venues from
private residences to public spaces. CBS, NBC, FOX, and USA Today
affiliates, as well as the Taos News, Taos Magazine and Los Angeles local beach newspapers have featured her work. (Follow me on YouTube.)
