These images were inspired by persistent drought and forest fires and the displacement of populations due to climate change.

Trees are lungs of the earth. As I saw trees at risk and clinging to life in the most precarious of environments, I began to focus on them as metaphors, not only for survival but also for resilience, and renaissance with hope for the future.
